Topic: Tip 30
Choose the table lamp that matches your decor and think about the light output in terms of lamp size, bulb usage and shade type. A larger lamp will most likely provide more light and make a large decorative statement in a room. A small lamp will produce a lovely accent light elsewhere.

Worth to Know - Lampshade Tips
If your shade get to dirty to brush clean you can wash it by spraying it with a mixture of woollit and water then rinse under the shower quickly with gentle spray. Carefully blot the shade with a hand towel until it is almost dry. Then put it back on the lamp and turn on the light so the heat from the bulb will help it to finish drying.  Or a blow dryer on warm works well.
