For basic cleaning use a clean soft cloth or a vacuum brush to dust the lamp shade inside and out. Wipe with damp cloth using a mild detergent (e.g. dishwashing liquid). Many of our shades are treated with ScotchGuard for added durability!

Because some types of fabric is less flame-retardant than others, always use the recommended light bulbs.
We like the soft effect of the 40 watt bulb, but generally do not exceed 60- 75 watts. Exceeding this wattage can result in a fire hazard
